“We as a church and Kingdom Expanders want to thank the NWBC for your generous Evangelism Grant. The finances helped us with our 2nd annual rodeo event. Each year towards the end of June the city of Newport, WA sponsors a rodeo event. The event draws people from all over the Pacific Northwest for 3 days. With the help of Michael Liner (SEND NW Catalyst) at our 1st event we were able to share 168 Gospel Conversations using The 3 Circles Gospel Tract. At our 2nd event in June 2026 we were able to share 188 Gospel Conversations with 6 decisions to surrender to King Jesus. Typically our event costs consist of space rental, tent rental, and gifts for our drawing. This coming year 2027 we are hoping to also secure a mechanical bull which would be a huge draw and provide the opportunity for even more Gospel conversations. The most exciting part of this experience for me is not only the conversions but seeing so many from our church willing to participate in the most important thing they can be doing with their lives. Jesus is King and they know it!"

"This summer we were able to reach out to our community by hosting a huge bounce house party, a week long art camp, and summer picnics with the help NWBC and those who give towards sharing the Gospel. We had hundreds attend the various events, 60 kids in art camp, and we were able to build new relationships that afford us the opportunity to share Jesus. Thank you to all who help make this possible!"

“Our city holds an annual block party that shuts down 10 blocks and hosts thousands of people walking the streets. We participated in this event directly in front of where we meet on Sunday afternoons. Beforehand we canvassed 400 homes, as well as every business downtown and nearby strips. Our hope: introduce ourselves to the city and share the Gospel with as many people as the Lord brought us! One particular joy was that for everyone except myself, this was a brand new experience! We got to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to countless people and invite them to church. It was a huge success and the evangelism grant played a significant part in helping us bring excellence to this work.”

“We are so thankful for the generosity of the Northwest Baptist Convention. Because of generous giving, we were able to use the NWBC evangelism grant to further our efforts for outreach this summer. We used the grant to fund our church’s first Vacation Bible School. We were able to share the gospel with 14 kids (9 of which were 4 years old!), along with their parents and siblings. We were able to feed the kids everyday and have a great day of fun for them and the neighborhood kids with an inflatable water slide at the end of the week. God used our VBS to put us in contact with many young families, including families in great need of help and support. Through these relationships being established, we have been able to minister to them further into the fall. Continue to pray for our efforts to result in God’s revival, renewal, and restoration work! The grant helped make our VBS and follow-up to VBS possible! We also used the grant to enable our concert in the park ministry. Our city has provided free concerts in the park over the past 2 summers and they have allowed us to have a tent at the concerts and give out free cotton candy and popcorn. We are the only church to take a part in these concerts and God has given us great opportunities to pour into, encourage, and share the Gospel with the people of our city. We were able to have many Gospel conversations, pray over people with needs, and further establish our church as a place that cares about our city, about knowing Jesus, and making Him known. We are so thankful for the opportunities God has given us through His mighty hand and we know that the NWBC’s generosity is part of God’s work in our region. Thank you so much for enabling us to do ministry in our city!"
